Different Is Not The Same

Even a toddler can tell you that. So why would you want to read a Bible that is different than what God preserved. I know that the KJV Bible is the inerrant preserved word for the English language. I know because God said over and over that He would preserve it forever.

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Isaiah 30:8 KJV

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord , thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalms 12:6‭-‬7 KJV

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17‭-‬18 KJV

For ever, O Lord , thy word is settled in heaven. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Psalms 119:89‭, ‬111‭, ‬160 KJV

Just to give you a few. Not only does He promise to preserve it, but He warns against those who try to change it and even tells us where all the perversions originate from – Satan. Destroying God’s word is one of his most effective methods of deceiving people. He knows if he can confuse and muddle what God has said to mankind then many will be lead astray by false doctrines, unbelief from seeming contradictions and therefore multitudes will die and go to hell and a lake of fire for all eternity. Because Satan began his plan in the garden and it’s been gathering steam ever since. Till today we have a whole buffet of translations in English but the lost are dying of starvation for the Word because they believe all versions are the same.

From removing the deity and blood of Christ, twisting doctrines and instructions to fit worldly agendas and denying God’s authority even removing or altering the gospel and our instructions for living today. Most even call Jesus Christ, Lucifer! They change Isaiah 14:12 from this:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isaiah 14:12 KJV

To say “morning star” which is the name given to Christ in Revelation 22:16 “the bright and morning star”.

Just look at a couple more comparisons of over 2,000 changes made in the translations that have come out since the KJV.

Now tell me again how all Bible versions are the same?

When I Say Goodbye

When to this world I say goodbye,
Whether Christ shall come or I shall die;

I shall not fear my future state;
Nor yet resign my soul to fate;

'Tis neither boast no carnal pride;
Nor natural worth I have inside;

My trust is not in human creeds;
Nor in my good religious deeds,

If man, by works, could heaven gain,
Then 'tis true, Christ died in vain,

There was no power on earth could save,
Nor offer hope beyond the grave,

Salvation is from heaven above;
God's book declares that God is love,

God loved the world and sent His Son
To die for sinners, for every one,

Christ tasted death for every man:
It was God's own redemption plan.

On Calvary cross the debt was paid,
For there on Christ our sins were laid,

In death the Saviour bowed His head,
There His precious blood was shed.

God has for sin no other cure,
By Christ's shed blood the way is sure.

When Christ had put our sin away,
In Joseph's tomb His body lay,

But on the third day Christ arose
To conquer thereby all His foes;

Then He ascended through the sky
To take His Father's throne on high,

Now in the Father's presence there
Unceasing is the Saviour's prayer.

Still He prays, "All Thine are Mine"
Forever kept by power Divine.

Christ promised to prepare a place
For all who will receive His grace.

Some day the age of grace will end;
The Lord from heaven shall descend.

The dead in Christ will hear the shout,
And from their graves they will come out.

The living saints shall with them rise,
And meet the Saviour in the skies;

And we shall then His glory see,
And like the Saviour we shall be.

When we reach our heavenly home,
Throughout the age yet to come,

God's grace in Christ the saints shall know,
For God has promised this to show.

Enternal life, God's gift is free
'Tis all by grace for you and me.

So in God's Word I rest my case,
Trusting His unfailing grace.

God cannot lie, His word is sure;
And in His Son I am secure,

Because Christ work has satisfied,
And by that work I'm justified.

God has pardoned every sin;
My hope of glory, Christ within.

I am prepared my God to meet,
For in His Son I am complete,

And sealed into redemption day,
So if by death, or I'm caught away.

I shall not fear my future state,
But, loving Christ, I'll serve and wait.

Don’t Be Accursed!

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:6‭-‬12 KJV

Paul gave this stern warning to us in his epistle to the Galatians about believing another gospel other than the one he preached which was given to him directly by the glorified, risen Christ. The gospel we are saved by today is:

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:1‭-‬4 KJV

Notice carefully what it consists of, it is all about the finished cross work of Christ, nothing else. You don’t deserve it, you can never earn it, and Christ already did it all anyway. It is a gift, you just believe that and accept it.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:8 KJV

And now notice what it does not consist of. There is no repentance, no water baptism, no rituals, no law keeping, NO works of any kind! That means the gospel for today is not the same one taught by John the Baptist, Jesus in the red letters, or the twelve apostles. The gospel they preached does save certain people under certain conditions and times just not today. That gospel was a kingdom gospel offered to Israel as a nation which they rejected so God put them in a big time out and brought salvation to the world anyway. See salvation was supposed to come through Israel to the Gentiles and in the future when God begins dealing with Israel again (after the body of Christ is caught up in the rapture) it will come through them. But right now it only comes through faith in Christ alone without any works or earthly promises, covenants, works, etc. God always knew this would be the case, he planned it before the world even began but He hid in Himself because if he hadn’t then they wouldn’t have crucified Christ, and that was the ultimate victory. God had a two fold plan to reconcile both Earth and heaven back under his government (Earth isn’t the only place that’s all jacked up, a whole bunch of angels rebelled too!).

Israel is the kingdom plan known as prophecy and it has been spoken of since the world began, they get the earthly kingdom of Christ, a literal kingdom that will be ushered in by the 70th week of Daniel and Christ’s return to set foot on Earth when he sets up the prophetic David kingdom lasting a thousand years in this Earth. Salvation under this plan is through faith in who Christ is, as in Christ the Son of God, what He did, and you prove your faith by works. Hence the Gospel that was preached by Jesus and the twelve “Repent and be baptized and have your sins forgiven at the times of refreshing”. That’s the second coming of Jesus to the Earth, their sins are not forgiven until then under the prophetic program.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38 KJV

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Acts 3:19 KJV

However today it’s all about grace and the mystery God had kept hidden all throughout history until just the right moment. That’s when He sent Christ to shine down from heaven’s glory and see save Paul to be the apostle to the Gentiles and take the gift of grace to the world. He’s forming a new creature, the Body of Christ that is spiritual, heavenly not earthly. We are made one in Christ the instant we are saved and nothing can ever separate us from Him. See, God’s not imputing our sins to us today, they are already forgiven and when we believe in the death burial and resurrection of Christ then it is finished we are saved that second. Saved, sealed, and delivered I call it. When he looks at us he sees His Son and who we are in Him.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:13 KJV

That’s glorious but you won’t find it in any gospel other than Paul’s gospel found in Romans through Philemon. If anyone tells you are saved by repentance, being baptized, or that you need to do anything at all to be saved, stay saved or prove you are saved then they are preaching another gospel, anither gospel that isn’t actually because it is a gospel of Christ just like Paul’s is but it’s not the one for today. And when Paul says to beware of anyone preaching such, note in the Phillipian’s passage they are called accursed twice. This because at because believing it could cost you eternity. See, if you believe the wrong Gospel today you are putting your trust not in Christ’s precious blood alone to save you but His blood plus your efforts. This makes you an enemy of the Cross and frankly lost as a golf ball in high weeds.

Trust in Christ alone knowing that He paid it all and told Paul all about it so he could record the plan of salvation for us today. Believe Christ when he said we have redemption through his blood alone and nothing, nothing, nothing else. Stop trying to earn it just get with the program for today. Don’t be accursed!

Women’s Day Truth

Today it’s supposed to be about women a day to celebrate our womanhood. All I see are a bunch of women acting like brats and tramps, yelling obscenities and how they have the right to kill their babies but not enough sense to keep their legs (and mouths) shut in the first place, how men are all pigs and evil but their the ones that destroy the most innocent and glory in it. For the record I want to look just briefly at the roots of this Women’s Day and why it does much more harm to the women of this world than good. And to say right up front I am not judging any women but pointing out the obvious and usual consequences of these choices.

The socialist party of America organized a women’s day on Feb 28 1909 in New York. Then in the 1910 international socialist women’s conference suggested a women’s day annually which was mainly celebrated by socialist and communist countries until it was adopted by the United Nations officially in 1975. Historically in all countries that observe Women’s Day it is associated with socialist and suffrage causes and movements such as women voting, job and pay equality, communism and socialism, sexual freedoms, and in recent years the right to murder unborn children under the guise of Women’s health, displacement issues, and women’s of history have been heavily focused on as well.

It disgusts me,and breaks mine heart because these women are rejecting the role God gave us as women, they are throwing away true fulfillment and happiness for shallow empty nightmares painted gold by Satan’s lies. And if it breaks my heart to the point of tears what must it do to God’s when he looks down and sees all these women flaunting their naked bodies as if that makes them special, beautiful, being selfish, lewd, crude and rude in their talk and actions, destroying precious lives by their choices. In reality it is when we as women respect ourselves and our husbands (whether married already or yet future husband), our children, each other and most of all God that we are most beautiful and if we are members of the body of Christ then we are not just beautiful but in God’s eyes we are perfect in His precious Son.

That’s what we should be about today – fulfilling the role God gave women, being proud female ambassadors of Christ as members of the Body of Christ sharing the love and grace that saved us with a world that is lost and edifying and fellowshipping with our sisters and brothers in the body as well as teaching the children of today who they are in Christ striving to ground and establish them in grace so their lives will glorify Him. Instead of promoting socialistic, feminist, and immoral causes and ideas we should be praising God for who He has made us in Christ by living by the instructions He gave us in the Bible, specifically the books of Romans through Philemon which were written directly to and for us today during the Dispensation of grace.

When God created Eve he gave her such amazing differences from Adam. A loving, nurturing, nature; soft, alluring physical beauty strong as steel in some ways but yielding and tender in the most important ways; able to bear babies and burdens; a heart that has the capacity to grow ever larger yet break with love, loss, and longing. We can laugh and cry with joy, rage or be icy silent with anger, we love with a completeness, passionate and ferocity that often happens all at once. We bandage boo-boos and broken hearts, share triumphs and tragedies and know a bond with our babies, husband’s and each other that is unbreakable, it can stretch more than a Stretch Armstrong, is more elastic than a rubber band and has the capability to mold, shift and adapt at ever changing speeds to meet the needs of life. We can do the things men do by and large but it doesn’t mean we should. We aren’t as strong physically, our core shape is just different, not built for brute force but perfectly made to bear any other person inside for nine months before giving birth to them. Men can’t do that. They can’t nurture a life inside, nurture a broken heart and shattered dreams with a tenderness a compassion unnatural for men. God gave us unique abilities and He did the same with men and therein is the beauty of a marriage. I always think that when we are living in the role God gave us as men and women that together we reflect to the world a hint of what God sees when He sees Christ in is.

Christ Not Sacraments Save

A few weeks ago I was looking into what the big Church we work in actually believes, I’ve been doing this with all the sects and denominations in Christendom of late. (We are not members here and do not attend services it is just a job that happens to be an environment where we have some liberty as ambassadors of Christ). I found that by and large they all actually believe not in the work and faith of Christ for salvation but instead in some form of works. This was true of the big, which is a Disciples of Christ for the record. It took some digging in the main denomination website to find it but deep in there it lay like a deadly snake waiting to strike the hearts of those who aren’t paying attention to what God says in Scripture.

What lay waiting? Sacraments for salvation. Just like it’s Catholic roots the DOC believes that it is the weekly partaking of the literal body and blood of Christ that saves people, along with water baptism and the observation of other rituals such as confession to maintain salvation. It is entirely works based, man centered. And it’s the norm today in so called Protestant denominations and churches, just as it is true in the Catholic Church they claim to have separated from. Instead they just changed the flavor of the spiritual poison their spiritual lies demand they feed their flocks.

That may be a bold statement but the Bible, every single word of which is Good breathed, tells us plainly that this is wrong. Tonight let’s look at just one of the places the core beliefs of about 95% of professing, claiming to be Jesus following, supposedly God loving and fearing Christians are openly and completely disobeying God, spitting in His face and bragging about it because it makes them feel good to do it.

Granted most think they are doing the right thing, being good obedient followers of Christ by doing what they are told by their Priest, Bishop, Preacher, Pope, Minister, etc. This happens because they fail to read God’s Word for themselves and just believe it the way it reads. They fail to have spiritual eyes, so they tell and believe spiritual lies because they spiritualize (allegorize) the Word of God, the Scriptures. Read the following and prayerfully search your heart and God’s Word to see if you have spiritual eyes or are guilty of spiritual lies.

Partaking of sacraments and or Holy Communion / Communion not only rejects the completness of Christ’s finished work of the Cross but it is actually strictly forbidden by God. I know, you’ve been told it makes you closer to Jesus, one with Him, puts you in His body as you take the bread (His body) and the wine (His blood) every week or month or whatever schedule your flavor of Christendom prefers and is necessary as part of maintaining that oneness. But think for one minute about what you are saying by participating in this unbiblical practice (bear with me on the unbiblical thing, I’ll prove it in a second). First you are out right saying that Christ’s death once for all wasn’t enough, that the blood He shed on Calvary didn’t really cover you so you have to keep taking it, killing Him over and over. That is what the unbloody sacrifice of the turning of bread and wine to body and blood is. It outright rejects and denies the following Words of God too:

When you read those verses just as they are written it becomes clear Christ died once for all who believe in Him and His finished work of the cross, not in it plus the periodic, ritualistic endless taking of sacraments to maintain this salvation. The taking of sacraments makes salvation about what you do to maintain it, not what Christ did to give it to you.

And back to the unbiblical thing, the taking of sacraments whether during the Catholic Mass, a traditional Eucharist such as many Orthodox and Protestant churches as well as Catholics call it or just saying communion it all means the same thing. It all refers in some way to the bread being the body and the wine the blood of Christ and even though the preacher, Minister, Bishop may say it only represents or symbolizes the actual body and blood of Christ but their core doctrines and beliefs demand that they actually believe their prayers or faith will turn that little cracker and sip of juice into Christ’s actual real body, and His blood. Which God strictly and explicitly forbids us to do.

If the Sacraments, Eucharist, Holy Communion, etc. claim to make the wine into the literal blood of Christ then all who partake are in open rebellion and disobedience to God, who clearly tells all his people not to consume blood, period. That right there ought to be enough to show anyone that if the denomination or group they are part of participates in, or requires the taking of sacraments and/or communion that church is in rebellion against God by it’s adherence to traditions made by man. It is against Christ because it says what He did wasn’t enough and that believers must add to His work by drinking His blood, which is an act forbidden by God.

When you take all the scriptures that tell us it is his finished work on the cross that saves us and that when we believe the gospel of the grace of God we are sealed unto the day of redemption, or catching up, then it is clear it is only through who Christ is, what He did for us on the cross and is doing in us that we are saved. It is His faithfulness and not ours that keeps us. Praise God for that or we’d jack it up five seconds in.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:16‭-‬17 KJV

That righteousness that is revealed from faith to faith is referring to His faith and faithfulness to save us through His death burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins and our justification and his faithfulness to keep us therefore we who believe in His faith and faithfulness live by faith in His faithfulness.

The taking of sacraments or communion can only frustrate grace and make you an unfruitful member of the Body of Christ at best and at worst doing so will make you an enemy of the cross you claim to cling to, the Savior you say you love.

What do you really love sacraments or do you love Christ?

Starting Here..

Do you ever look around you, really notice it all? All the places, things, people! Most of them are lost as a golf ball in high weeds you know and don’t even realize it. Many have never heard of God, Jesus and grace much less the gospel of the grace of God, others think they are saved because they go to the right church, did the right activities, participated in required ceremonies and rituals, prayed the right prayer, paid the right amount, etc. but they are just as lost as the other guy. They are all taking a fast train to hell and a lake of fire that’s gonna roll into the station at full speed. That’s the vast majority of people we encounter each day you know. What if we made it a point to tell just 1/4 of the people we encounter each day about Christ and what he didn’t them. What if we loved them as He does, loved them enough to ask hard questions, face awkward moments head on and preach the gospel of Christ’s death burial and resurrection to just one in four people we have contact with each day. I bet we change the whole world, at least for that one person who hears, who believes and becomes the newest member of the Body of Christ.

It doesn’t have to be hard you know. I worked at memorizing some key Scriptures that explain why we all need reconciled to God, how He made the way for that and what that way is. Then I spent a few minutes coming up with a general line to reach out to everyone I encounter. For me it’s this:

I ask everyone I talk to: telemarketers who call, cashier’s at the store, restaurant workers, passersby, doctors and their staff. It’s even my closing signature for my email and my voicemail message. That’s all it takes and sometimes they hear me, ask questions, want truth. Sometimes the person I ask directly doesn’t answer or brushes me off but the man in line behind me calls out to you with tear filled eyes thanking me because he needed to hear those words. He had heard it but was struggling, he’d fallen off that old wagon and was hurting and those words of live and life and hope gave him strength, reminded him he’s loved by the very Creator of the universe who died for him, for his sins, took his place and was saying believe in me and what I did for you, how much I love you and I will give you life in me. Because someone on Earth loves every person they encounter just a little fraction as much as Christ does then maybe the body will get one member stronger. That’s what Paul did and we all can too. We all encounter people each day in our lives, the world is lost and needs Christ, we have to share Him.

Do You Know?

I want you to think for a moment about a pretty serious question:

Do you know where you will spend eternity when you die?

If you do how do you know?

These aren’t trick questions mind you, but questions I am going to start asking people when I meet them. Obviously I will tweak things based on the situation and individual but I want to really step up my efforts to reach the lost in this world. And I am not just a gonna assume a person is saved and miss an opportunity.

I will ask.

If they are (I’ll be able to see that by the answer to the second question) praise God I just met a brother or sister in Christ if not I will ask if they want to know how they can know and be sure or deal with a false trust in works. Then I will take them through the Scriptures showing their problem of needing a Savior because they have sinned against God, once they see the need I’ll give them the solution and just simply present the gospel from Scripture; that Christ died for their sins was buried to eternally remove them all and rose the third day for their justification before God, giving us eternal life in Him. I’ll explain in depth using a Bible if time and setting allow, or make it short and to the point using a tract and memorized verses if not.

Either way after giving them the good news I will ask if they understand and want to accept the gift of eternal life through Christ by believing what He did for them, that that’s all they have to do. All they can do, for any works they try to add such as a confession, water Baptism, praying that prayer, repentance, etc. will just condemn them, the only way to be saved is trusting in the shed blood of Christ to save us. It’s His faith through the Cross and if we add to it then we are rejecting that truth, rejecting Him.

If they believe that hallelujah praise God another soul is saved, if not then I tried. Either way I will give them some Bible pamphlet or tracts depending on how it went with a way to contact me for Bible Study, questions or information. I want to see the lost saved the best way to do that is take it on like Paul and always be about sharing the good news.

So I ask you my friends,

Do you know where you will spend eternity when you die? If so how do you know? If not do you want to know how you can be sure?

I am just a comment or email away if you want to talk.
