Will You Be There?

If you believe what Christ said in Paul’s Epistles you will…

The Apostle Paul writes the following by direct revelation from the glorified risen Christ to the Church the Body of Christ:

Romans 1:16 KJV — For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 2:16 KJV — In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV — For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV — Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Ephesians 1:13 KJV — In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30 KJV — And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Romans 8:23 KJV — And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 KJV — Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 KJV — For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Philippians 3:20-21 KJV — For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Will you meet Christ in the air with me?

Two Most Important Questions

The most important question you will ever answer is “Where will you spend eternity?” The second is “How do you know for sure?” If you are trusting in anything other than the finished cross work of Christ for your salvation then the answer to the first is a lake of fire and the answer to the second is because it’s what you deserve. If you think you are saved because of something YOU have done or are doing: repentance, walked an aisle prayed a prayer signed a card, water baptism, Communion, tithing, attending church, repentance and shirt accounts, etc. well, you’re wrong. It’s not about anything you could ever possibly do to please God or earn your salvation:
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;… Isaiah 64:6 KJV.
We’ve all sinned, we’re all dirty rotten broken messes, we don’t deserve salvation and can never earn it. And we don’t need or have to cause Christ already did it. He died at Calvary to pay for all our sins past present and future, was buried to remove them and rose the third day for our justification. His resurrection is our promise of the same.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV
He paid it all, we just have to believe that truth. Believe that He died so you and I might live!
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:7 KJV

We are saved by His work not ours, it’s a gift, it’s grace, it’s glorious. And when you believe it you can answer those questions very differently. You can say “Heaven” and “Because Christ paid it all, He died was buried and rose again for me. He took my place, paid my debt, saved me and it is finished.”.

How will you answer? Your attempts or Christ’s finished work?

The Most Important Answer

Believe in Christ’s death to pay for your sins, burial to remove them and resurrection for your justification alone to be saved. If you chose your best five minutes, you chose eternal hellfire.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10‭, ‬23 KJV

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:7‭, ‬13‭-‬14 KJV

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15:3‭-‬4 KJV

The Greatest Love Story…

This world has ever seen!

I want to share a story with you that’s about real love, the kinda love only God knows. I want tell you the greatest love story the world has ever seen.

It starts with God, who is perfect holy and just; and man who is a sinful, jacked up hot mess. God hates what man has become, hates sin and can’t be around it so He is separated from man. It wasn’t meant to be this way in the beginning when God created the first man Adam he walked with him in the garden until the day Adam sinned against God. By his choice he brought sin into the world and as a result of that sin death, every single person who has ever lived (save One, the star of our story) has sinned because we are all descendants of Adam. Scripture, that’s God’s Word to us, tells us this in Romans 5:12.

Which really stinks cause it means all men are guilty of sin before God. And yes, that includes you and me. How many lies have you told? If you say none then your a liar cause we’ve all told some and you just proved the point. Romans 6:23 explains the consequences of this sin, death. In Romans 11:23 we learn that because all men sin against Him, which is really just us rejecting Him and His will for us, God has concluded them all in sin. There is none righteous no not one (Romans 3:10).

That’s pretty dire when you think about none of us is righteous before God on our own. There’s nothing we can do to change that either – no good work or deed, no baptism communion or sacrament, no confessions or prayers, nothing! Basically by ourselves we lost as a golf ball in high weeds and therefore face the results of our lowly condition. Death. But not just physically but spiritually. You aren’t just made up of a physical body but your spirit and soul as well and when your physical body dies your spirit and soul will still live on and that will bear your sins to hell then at the second resurrection your spirit and soul and sin will be cast into a lake of fire for all eternity. Yea, lake of fire. And there is nothing you can do to prevent that.

But that’s ok cause God took care of it. See, He loves you so much He showed it by taking your death for you. He died for you, how’s that for love. Romans 5:8 says: God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Christ is God’s Son but He is also fully God in the flesh come to earth, born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life (he is the One mentioned earlier) and was crucified on the cross at Calvary as the ransom payment for the worlds sins. He paid the price for all that day. He bore our sins in His body at His death – all of them past, present and future mine, yours, everyone’s. He took them to hell and left them there forever by His burial and on the third day he rose victorious over death from the grave to justify us before God and give to us eternal life when we believe in Him.

See, you do have to believe that, to have faith in the faith of Christ and the completeness of what He has already done to save you from what you deserve. His death, His blood bought a gift for you, but you have to take the gift. He won’t force it on you, can’t make you trust in Him. But He loved you so much anyway that it was your name on His heart and mind as those hammers fell in the nails piercing His body, as He hung in the hot Jerusalem sun thirsty, bleeding, dying He could have said ok, enough already, I’m out. I mean hello, He’s God in the flesh and He could have said “nope they’re just not worth it.” Not worth the agony and suffering, the rejection and desolation He suffered as He bore your sins and died your death. But He didn’t. Instead He was obedient unto death to pay your debt so you could have eternal life in Him. He loved you, you broken jacked up mess that you are, just as you are. He knew your name and every single thought and deed you would one day do, every time you would turn from Him, scorn, curse, rail against Him. Because He knew one day this moment would come when someone would live you enough to tell you this story, the greatest live story the world is ever seen. And in this moment He knew you’d have the opportunity to choose life in Him, to accept the gift of God’s grace, that’s how much Christ Jesus loves you. How much God loves you. Will you accept the gift He freely offers and trust in Him and his shed blood to save you?

Lost Believers

Heartbreakingly it is all to true. Far to many who genuinely believe who Christ is fail to recognize and truly know what exactly He did for them that day on Calvary. They believe that Christ died and rose again but they miss the mystery God had hidden in himself since before the world began, the mystery of the gospel. They miss that it’s God’s grace that His Son’s death would pay for our sins completely totally eternally outside of the nation of Israel! They miss that there is nothing they can do to save themselves – no work, no repentance, no water baptism, no sacraments, no prayer, no good deed, no law keeping, nothing – in fact believing, trusting, doing or requiring any of these acts condemns a believer today because they are trusting their faith to keep a work not Christ’s faith that He already did it all. It is finished paid in full and you just have to believe He did it all. You can not do one single thing to satisfy God because His perfect Son already did it. Instead of believing the gospel of the good news that he died to pay for all your sins past present and future before you even committed them by His faith in God the Father knowing He would raise Him up again, buried to forever remove them never again to be brought up before God, and raised the third day as He knew His Father would for our justification before God.

They fail to believe they are already made complete and whole, already always forever saved in Christ instead vainly attempting to contribute or earn in some way salvation. They believe they can loose their salvation if they fail to repent often, confess their sins, do the acts, believe they replaced Israel, look for a kingdom on Earth. So they are like children throwing away eternal peace, joy and completeness in Christ for eternal damnation because they believe not in the gospel of God’s glorious grace given through the revelation of the mystery as committed to Paul in what he referred to as “my gospel, the gospel of the uncircumcision, whose hope is in heavenly places, choosing instead the kingdom gospel of Jesus on Earth as well as John the Baptist and the twelve, the gospel of the circumcision. But that isn’t God’s plan for saving us today. And if that’s the gospel you believed then I am afraid of you lest you are a list believer.

Has Anyone Ever Loved You Enough?

Has anyone ever loved you enough to tell you that Jesus Loves you? Loves you so very much that He died for you. He died to pay for your sins, all of them past present and future. He died on the cross at Calvary and it was you that put Him there, held Him there, killed Him there; but He still loved you. It was your name on His mind, on His heart as His blood poured down His broken, beaten, body. Your face He saw as His eyes closed in agony. Your life He saved. Has anyone ever told you how He was then buried and His burial removed all of them past present and future forever? They are gone, forever put as far away from you as the East is from the West in God’s eyes. Has anyone ever told you that the third day He rose from the grave alive, eternally justifying you before God through His victory over death? Giving you eternal life, complete and total salvation in Him as a free gift. Has anyone ever told you how all you have to do is believe that to get that gift? Just accept it. Just trust what Jesus Christ did for you was more than enough. Has anyone loved you enough to tell you how to be absolutely certain you have eternal life?

If so I would love to hear that story. If not well someone does, just did, and Christ is waiting for you to accept the gift He freely poured out for you. Please reach out to me and it will be my joy to tell you more, answer any questions you have, show you in Scripture how what I’ve just said is true, rejoice with you, and walk with you as a sister in Christ. I love you that much and He loves you an eternity more!
